<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor E [Edward] A [Albert] Schafer FRS</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Professor Schafer,
I have to acknowledge the receipt of the MS [Manuscript] of your Croonian lecture, which I have been authorised by the Secretaries to pass on to the printers for publication in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society].
There is one point I should like to ask you about:- The six plotted curves accompanying the paper are not drawn in such a way as to be capable of direct reproduction (see notice inside the cover of Proceedings [of the Royal Society]). They will require replotting and lettering for reproduction, and this will make a material addition to the engravers' bill. Are you prepared to defray this extra cost, or do you ask the Society to bear the burden of it?'</dc:description>
