  <dc:description>Harrison is obliged by Whitaker's note on the recently application from Hartley College, Southampton, and will bring their letter before the Library Committee on the question of sending them  'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. It is unlikely that the Committee will entertain their application for 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', so it would be well if Whitaker was able to continue his donation.</dc:description>
