Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to The Chief Clerk, Royal Mint Following on from their telephone conversation this morning, Harrison has examined the Hughes Medal and finds that the initials inscribed upon it are J H M F, which stand for John Henry Monsell Furse, the artist who designed the medal. 27 January 1910
