In Vol 3 of the Proceedings [of the Royal Society] (then called Abstracts of the Papers printed in the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society]) at p 226, in the President's address for 1833, you will find half a page of information about him. You will also find a notice of him in the Dictionary of National Equitable Assurance Co. We have two or three of his actuarial books, and his memoir of Dr Richard Price, in the Library.'</dc:description>
