Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Secretary, The Royal Astronomical Society 'Dear Sir, With reference to your letter of January 15 last, and subsequent correspondence concluding with your letter of the 13th instant on the subject of the re-publication of the papers of William Herschel, I am directed to inform you that at the meeting of the Council yesterday the Report of the Herschel Committee was received and its recommendations approved, and that the Council passed a resolution undertaking to guarantee half the cost of the republication, as contemplated in the Report of the Committee.' 24 June 1910
