<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W [William] N [Napier] Shaw FRS </dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Dr Shaw,
I have just heard from the President about a meeting of the Gassiot Committee, and he says that the 19th will be very inconvenient to him, beside giving, as he considers, too short a notice to the Committee, so he says a later date had better be fixed.
He has asked me to find out about Professor Schuster's movements, and I am writing to Manchester for news. In the meantime I shall be glad of suggestions for another date. The only fixtures that we have after next week that would clash with a Gassiot meeting, are on October 26 and 27, and November 3, 8, and 9.'
