Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor [John Sealy Edward] Townsend, Fellow of the Royal Society The Physics Committee left Kirkby's paper to a third referee and he records that it be cut down to one half. His remarks are being sent herewith [no enclosures]. Presumably Townsend will communicate with the author. The paper will then be so short that it will be suitable for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. 8 December 1910
