<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Jocelyn Field Thorpe, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Treasurer has authorised payment of the account Thorpe sent in, amounting to £4.7.3. A cheque will be forwarded to Messrs John Griffin & Sons. There is agreement to his statement of expenditure being £37.3.8. The amount available for the ensuing year, under Rule II of the Sorby Fund Regulations will be about £30. The Treasurer is unable to name a higher figure, because it is uncertain whether income tax that is recoverable, will be paid over to the Royal Society during 1911, or fall within 1912. </dc:description>
