<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Harrison has received a memo about Horizontal Force from Mr Walker who wishes for it to be distributed among the members of the Magnetic Sub-Committee, but Harrison does not feel at liberty to take instructions from an individual member in such a matter without the concurrence of Chree as Scientific Secretary. If he gives authority, a copy will be sent around.

The only Indian Observatory Chree gave on his list for application for Quick-run Observations was that of Bombay. An application was sent to Dr Walker as Director of Indian Observatories, and Harrison presumes the application was general. Harrison is surprised a reply has not been received, perhaps Walker is waiting to communicate with all the Observatories.</dc:description>
