<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr C [Charles] Chree FRS </dc:title>
<dc:description>'In reply to yours of yesterday I have no notion as to the probable numbers attending the Gassiot Committee on Wednesday . I do know that the Treasurer and Sir George Darwin cannot come, and I have every reason to believe that the President, Sir Joseph Larmor and Dr Schuster will come. Beyond that I know nothing.
If you could get someone at the Observatory to send a postcard round to the Committee with the lost convenient trains marked on it I think it would be a great convenience to the Committee; that could be done so much better by someone with local knowledge that it can be from here, or I would not trouble you.
I presume from having heard nothing further from you that there is nothing to add to the agenda beyond what I mentioned in my last letter to you.'</dc:description>
