<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr A [Arthur] Harden FRS </dc:title>
<dc:description>The paper by Mr S G Paine on the permeability of the yeast cell, communicated by Harden, has been under consideration. Harrison is directed to say that while the paper constitutes a very useful contribution to the knowledge of permeability of protoplasm, the paper is unnecessarily long and would be better is re-written in concisely.
Harrison will be glad to hear whether the author would be prepared to condense the paper. </dc:description>
