Copy letter from John Rose Bradford to The Secretary, HM Treasury 'The Royal Society has had under consideration an application from the Institut Oceanographique, Monaco, (founded by the Prince of Monaco) for the grant of a set of the "Challenger" publications for the Institut. The Royal Society is of opinion that the application is one which should be granted, and I am therefore desired to ask that the Lords of HM Treasury may be pleased to authorise the Comptroller of the Stationery Office to forward a complete unbroken set of these publications to the Institut Oceangraphique, Monaco.' 11 January 1912
