Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Wilfrid Mark Webb, The Selborne Society 'Replying to your of the 5th, we have in our Index of Manuscripts three original letter of Gilbert White's. One on "The House Marten", another on "The House Swallow, &c" and another on the words "Preem and PReening". The two first are printed in the Philosophical Transactions, but the third appears not to have been printed. I could show you these if you care to call here, but the Society is, as a rule, very unwilling to have on of these letters for your Gilbert White exhibition would have to form the subject of a special application to Council, which does not meet before the 15th.'
