The corrections you have made on the first proof do not seem to make a revise in slip necessary. Referring to my letter in answer to yours of the 23rd about the Swiss Society of Natural Sciences and their invitation to the Anniversary celebrations, I should be glad to know whether you have communicated with Professor Guye in the sense of the information I gave you, or whether you think we should pursue the matter further without waiting to hear from him again.' 29 February 1912
