<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor F [Francis] W [Wall] Oliver FRS, Chairman, Botany Sectional Committee</dc:title>
<dc:description>'Paper by E A N Arber on the Fossil flora of the forest od Dean Coalfield and the relationships of the coalfields of the West of England and South Wales communicated by Prof T Meek Hughes FRS.
The botany referee (Dr Seott) and the geology referee (Dr Kidston) both approve of the publication of this paper in full in the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society]. Do you therefore approve of its being set up as for Phil Trans, in anticipation of the decision of the Committee, under Standing Order 43; or do you consider that meetings of the Geology & Botany Committees should be summoned to decide upon it?
Dr Kidston says that the paper contains a few slips - which however do not affect the author's general conclusions - and he suggests that he should be allowed to communicate with the author direct to "save both time and trouble". Shall this exceptional course be sanctioned?'</dc:description>
