Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to T Amherst-Tyssen, Cathcart Lodge, Cathcart Road, S.W. Dr Simon Degge who was elected a Fellow in 1723 was the son of Sir Simon Degge, whose obituary appears in the Dictionary of National Biography. Dr Simon Degge was a Doctor of Medicine and wrote a paper which was published in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' in 1727. There is no presently available information about the Simon Degge who was elected in 1730. 21 June 1912
