Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society The bills for some of his illustrations have been paid. Waterlows are all in and explained and they are fairly payable now. Proposes to daw their cheque for £35.9.8. Gronvold's is still unsettled, but Harrison wrote to him protesting his charge. Sending his reply [no enclosures]. He says that Lankester agreed to his charge of 7 to 10 guineas. Harrison would be very reluctant to pay more than £4 or 5 (or guineas) for a quarter plate. There remains Miss Woodward's bill for £3. 2s. 0d, which will also be settled. Her other one for £12. 15s, which has already been paid to her by Lankester. Until Gronvold's affair is settled, Harrison can't give the exact total. 19 July 1912
