There is a Filippo Silvestri, Professor of General Zoology and Entomology at Regia Scuola Superiore de Agricultura at Portici. There is also a Filippo Silvestri, who may be the same man, who is Professor of Comparative Anatomy in Rome. Hopes this information is useful.
