Copy letter from Arthur Schuster, Secretary of the Royal Society to W [William] B [Bate] Hardy FRS 'Your paper on "The influence of chemical constitution upon interfacial tension, etc" was laid before the Committee of Papers yesterday with a recommendation from the Sectional Committee that it should be published in the PHilosophical Transactions, in preference to the Proceedings, on account of the length of the paper. If you agree to this course being adopted the publication of the paper will be put in hand at once, after you have had an opportunity of revising it.' 24 January 1913
