Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor C [Charles] H [Herbert] Lees FRS 'We want to have a list of "Probable" papers for reading on May 1st, to advertise this week in Nature, and I shall be much obliged if you will mark such as you think we may safely put down, and let me have it back tomorrow. I enclose a list of those on hand which may be considered as likely to be acceptable, and, if you think any or all of them to be so far suitable for the Society as to be accepted for reading, I shall be much obliged by your marking them on the list and sending it back to me. Southwell's paper is in your hands, so that you will be able to decide whether Dr Chree's criticisms are so destructive as to preclude us from reading it, or whether they are concerned with details which can be adjusted before publication.' 21 April 1913
