Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Edward Charles] Pickering, Foreign Member of the Royal Society Since his visit yesterday the list of visitors to the meeting of the Royal Society on 19 January 1871 was looked up and Pickering's name in included in company with S P Langley and Professor C A Young, as being introduced by Norman Lockyer. There was no paper on the Eclipse read on that date, but one was read a short time afterwards, on 9 February 1871. 7 June 1913
