<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Hector Munro] Macdonald, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>Mr Chapman has sent the enclosed note [no enclosures] in reply to criticisms made on his paper 'The diurnal variations of the earth's magnetism produced by the moon and sun', and Harrison is ask whether they meet Macdonald's objections. If so, would it more appropriate that the should be incorporated in the paper itself instead of appearing as a footnote. Another Fellow to whom this paper was referred has reported in favour if publication.</dc:description>
