Copy letter from Arthur Schuster, to Dr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, Fellow of the Royal Society Regarding Glazebrook's letter enclosing further notes by T Smith on the subject of his paper 'Notes on a generalization of the sine conditions and on the ideal lens', it has been been communicated again with the Fellows who reported adversely upon the paper originally, but as a result of the correspondence Schuster fears that their opinions, on which the Council has acted, must be considered as final. Returning Smith's further notes on 'A refraction at a spherical surface'. Smith is at liberty to copy his paper deposited in the Archives if he wishes. 20 June 1913
