<dc:title>Copy letter from John Rose Bradford, to The Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Tropical Diseases Committee of the Royal Society had at their last meeting a letter from Major A E Hamerton, forwarded by Sir David Bruce for the favourable consideration of the Committee, with reference to leave of absence from Nyasaland [Malawi]. Sending a copy of Hamerton's letter [no enclosures]. The Committee are of the opinion that Hamerton's application should be acceded to, and they will be obliged if the Secretary of State will telegram him to that effect. Any work arrangements can be prosecuted by sending out another observer, and can be discussed with Bruce when he arrives in a few weeks time.</dc:description>
