Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [William Napier] Shaw, Fellow of the Royal Society Referring to his letter of 18 October on the subject of payments for seismological work at Eskdalemuir, it appears that a balance of £97.2.1 is still due in respect of the sum of £200 a year for two years voted by the Royal Society in 1911. This sum can be had on application. Regarding M H Gray's gift of £200, the second moiety was received lately and was at once paid over. The first moiety has not been paid over, but can be had, on his application, if desired. 22 October 1913
