<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to J J Johnson, 23 Warwick Street</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
Would it be very troublesome to you to let me have separate Demand notes of £1-5-0 to 2s/6d for the enclosed? The Society pays the £1-5-0 on Mr James's salary, but the 2s/6d is, I suppose, a tax on the £5 Govt [Government] grant of which I made a marginal note on your schedule. Mr James must pay that himself. It wd [would] be convenient to me if these cd [could] be separated.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
[?] thinks I am right & you shall have a cheque shortly'. </dc:description>
