<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Thomson, President of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir William,
We were closed here till Wednesday as usual at Easter, but I sent all your MS. [manuscript] to printers on Thursday & have just sent the new instalment & the correction which arrived a few minutes ago. I have told the printers to post to you on Saturday slip proof of all that they have finished, & the rest on Monday evening. Lord Rayleigh has been at Terling during the recess, & I had a telegram from him this morning showing that he is still there.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst. Sec. RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
