Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society] 'My Lord, Prof [Professor] Carey Foster's report (adouse) on [William] Ramsey & [E P] Perman has come. The paper now waits for a second referee to be named. Yours obediently H Rix I have had ^this morning^ a note from Dr Foster to say that Mr Lockyer's big paper is to be read next Thursday if abstract comes today.
