<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Bowman, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir William,
It will not be possible to begin a new page for your obit [obituary] of [Franz Cornelius] Donders. Your separate copies might, of course, be re-made, but then the original paging of the "Proceedings" ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'] could not be retained. A third course occurs to me, & that is to fill up the 2 ins [inches] or so of blank at the top with a "displaced" title. Before your sep. [separate] copies are printed off I will let you have a revise in pages, & you will then see what can be done.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
