Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society] 'My Lord, I have only this evening succeeded in getting Mr Mallock's paper from Prof. [Professor] Unwin. His Report is adverse. I am nevertheless putting it into type for the meeting, but there are five diagrams, & I think I ought not to go to expense of cutting these until I hear from you that I am to do so.
