<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to [John William Strutt] Lord Rayleigh, [Royal Society]</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'My Lord,
The enclosed, received this morning seems to put a different complexion on the question of printing Mr Tomlinson's paper. I shall not therefore send it to be set up for Transactions ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] till I hear again from your Lordship. Please return Prof Ayrton's [Professor William Edward Ayrton] letter as it has to serve for a Report upon Mr [Henry] Wilde's paper.
Yours obedly [obediently]
H Rix'. </dc:description>
