<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
I am directed by the Secretaries to ask that in reporting upon the paper by Prof W.N. Parker, which has been referred to you; you will advise the Committee as to the desirability of incurring so large a sum as the plates are estimated to cost, in the reproduction of the whole of them. It is estimated that after reducing the colours to the lowest terms, the plates will cost about £110 if the whole are reproduced.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
