<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Arthur William Rücker, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Prof Rücker,
Prof. Clifton [Professor Robert Bellamy Clifton] was not here last Monday. None of us remember his coming, & his name is not in the porter's book. He was here a fortnight ago enquiring about a certificate, but Prof Jones's certificate had not then been handed in. It was, as you say, handed in on the 12th & has been duly registered and suspended in the meeting-room.
I am, yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.</dc:description>
