<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Crookes, Fellow of the Royal Society</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
I believe you suggested that Mr Streeter might exhibit at our forthcoming Soirée. The Committee, however, purposely did not invite Mr Streeter this year as Tiffany & Co, New York, are making a jewellery exhibition. We shall be very glad to have Mr Streeter's aid on some future occasion. Meanwhile, you will know whether or not it is necessary to drop him a line upon the subject.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
