<dc:title>Copy letter from Theodore E James, to Messrs Longmans, Green & Company, 39 Paternoster Row, E.C.</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sirs,
In regard to your application for electros for use in Thorpe's Dict. [Dictionary] of Applied Chemistry you do not say if the author of the paper in which the figs. [figures] appear is agreeable to their being used. Your reference to a fig. [figure] on p.52, Vol. 31, Proc. Roy. Soc. ['Proceedings of the Royal Society'] must be an error. There is no figure on that paper.
Yrs [Yours] truly,
T E James
Clerk RS [Royal Society]'. </dc:description>
