In answer to your letter of the 24th inst. [instant] I have the pleasure to inform you that the lost volume has now been discovered. Being addressed to the President it was sent to the private residence, and has now been reclaimed and both the volumes of M. Ed. Roche's works are now in our Library. Regretting to have given you so much trouble.
