<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society]</dc:title>
 <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
There are about 52,000 words in Mr Parke's MS. [manuscript]. The cost of typing wd [would] be 1/- to 1/3 per 1000 if the MS is sent out, but about 1/6 per 1000, I fancy, if the machine is brought here. This wd come to nearly £4. Copying by hand would be dearer still; & nobody here would care to do it. Shall I send for the typist?
Yours truly
H Rix
