Dear Sir Lyon,
Sir Henry Roscoe thought we shd [should] make a further appeal, as we have not yet quite enough money, &amp; I wrote the accompanying letters for your signature last August. I found, however, that you were away. If you will now sign them, we will alter the date, and they shall be sent to some of the Fellows who have not yet responded.
