<dc:title>Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, [Royal Society]</dc:title>
  <dc:description>'Dear Sir,
We sent notice of the reading of Mr Burch's paper to the address at Streatham which was given on the MS. [manuscript] of the paper itself. If that was only a temporary address, it is Mr Burch's own fault, we had nothing else to go by. Victor Meyer is not coming to dinner. I have not heard yet about [Stanislao] Cannizzaro.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'
P.S. I have just heard that Cannizzaro is not coming'. </dc:description>
