<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor [Edward Charles] Pickering, Foreign Member of the Royal Society</dc:title>
<dc:description>With reference with his letter, enclosing a statement of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' deficiencies, it appears that there is sufficient stock in hand for the period 1860-1873, and so therefore his duplicated or incomplete parts are not required. The incomplete parts he mentions in his second list are practically worthless, and it is proposed to send, as a gift, from surplus stock, the volumes 1828-1851. In some cases sheets instead of wrapped volumes might have to be sent.</dc:description>
