<dc:title>Copy letter from John Rose Bradford, to The Secretary, Board of Agriculture</dc:title>
<dc:description>Adverting to their letter of 30 June, and subsequent correspondence on the subject of the investigation of Swine Fever, the Committee have met and discussed in general terms the requirements of the investigation. It was impossible for the Committee, without further enquiry than the time allowed, to draw up a detailed scheme and estimate of cost. However, they reviewed the probable heads of expenditure and formally concluded that for the first year's working a sum of approximately £5000 would be required.

The Committee have arranged to meet again before the end of the month and hope to formulate more definite proposals as to the mode of carrying out the investigation.</dc:description>
