Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Duagld Clerk, FRS 'The Committee of the Royal Society, for advising the Government on subjects connected with the War, at their meeting yesterday appointed you Chairman of the sub-Committee for the consideration of questions in relation to engineeering science. The constitution of the sub-Committee is as follows:- Mr G T Beilby, Mr C V Boys, Mr Dugald Clerk, Mr W Duddell, Mr A Mallock, Dr Petavel, Professot Starling and Sir Philip Watts.' 20 November 1914
