<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor John Bretland Farmer FRS, Chairman of the Botany Committee</dc:title>
<dc:description>'Paper by W L Balls and F S Holton 'Analyses of agricultural yield. Part II'.
Sir F Darwin thinks this paper should be published in the Phil[osophical] Trans[actions], as "it is not only of value as a contribution to agricultural science, but is of marked interest from the point of view of Plant Physiology".
Mr A D Hall thinks it should not be published as "it is of inordinate length and only of limited technical interest".
If the Chairman thinks a third option should be taken will he please nominate a referee.'</dc:description>
