<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to the Secretary, HM Office of Works</dc:title>
<dc:description>'The Council of the Royal Society has given instructions for the removal of a number of our books and valuable manuscripts as well as pictures to places of safety in the basement of this building; and as we have not the necessary labour available and it is desirable to act at once I shall be much obliged if you can supply us with labour for the purpose of removal and arrangement - charges to be recoverable from the Society. The men should be here by 10 o'clock on Monday morning next.
At the same time I should be muhc obliged by your informing me whether you would be able to give us any assistance in securing the services of a night watchman.'</dc:description>
