Society for the Promotion of Hellenic Studies, 19 Bloomsbury Square, WC 'I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 17th instant reminding us of your meeting to be held in our rooms on June 29th. I should like to take this opportunity of asking you to arrange that this shall take place at 4.30 at the latest, as that there may be a reasonable chance of its being over by 6 o'clock when our rooms are officially closed. Your last meeting concerning at 5.30 was not over until about 7 o'clock which means that our staff of porters etc, are kept here an hour beyond their proper time of leaving.' 20 May 1915
