<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Dr L Silberstein, 4 Anson Road, Cricklewood, NW</dc:title>
<dc:description>'With reference to your letter of the 25th ultimo, I am directed to inform you that the Standing ORders of the Society provide that a paper may be withdrawn on the condition that it or a certified copy of it remains in the possession of the Society. If therefore you have retained a copy of your paper under reference I will mark the one at present in our possession for preservation in the Archives, otherwise I must ask you to make arrangements for making a copy of it. The Council expressly takes power under the Statutes to return drawings or illustrations, and I have no reason to suppose they will decline to meet your wishes in this respect; but it rests with them.'</dc:description>
