<dc:title>Copy letter from Ernest Henry Starling to the Secretary of the Board of Agriculture</dc:title>
<dc:description>The Royal Society's Committee on Swine Fever have been in communication with the Governing Body of the Lister Institute with a view to obtaining accommodation for carrying out experiments. the Governing Body of the Lister Institute has shown a willingness to cooperate with the Royal Society and they are willing to hand over laboratories for the preparation of a vaccine.
Starling discusses leasing the laboratories and the land immediately adjacent to the property, the erection of piggeries on the land, and the rent payments to be made by the Royal Society for the 5 years they will use the space.
Before the arrangements are submitted to the Council of the Royal Society Harrison asks that the Board of Agriculture say whether these arrangements are reasonable and could be undertaken.</dc:description>
