<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Dr J Horne FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>'I have to acknowledge yours of the 2nd July, with receipt for a Scientific Relief Grant, and I am very sorry if I have overlooked a previous question of yours with regard to the obituary notice of Professor Geikie. The length of such notices is a matter with is left, within reason, entirely to the discretion of the Fellows who are good enough to undertake their preparation; but if you want a suggestion I should say that three or four pages of Proceedings would be quite as much as it is usual to devote to such a subject as you have undertaken.'</dc:description>
