We have no tabulated list of Vice-Presidents of the Society and I am afraid it would not be possible without a considerable amount of search to ascertain for what period Admiral Smythe was a Vice-President of the Society. 3. J Dillwyn-Llewellyn, who died in 1881 or 1882, was a naturalist, and for further information I would refer you to the Linnean Society. I cannot find that Mr A M Stoney-Maskelyne was a Fellow of the Society.' 9 December 1914
