<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to C Anthony </dc:title>
<dc:description>'In reply to the first set of questions in your letter of November 10th, the Right Hon. William Eden, 1st Baron Auckland was elected a Fellow of the Society in 1786. I cannot find that any of the other gentlemen mentioned were Fellows.
2. We have no tabulated list of Vice-Presidents of the Society and I am afraid it would not be possible without a considerable amount of search to ascertain for what period Admiral Smythe was a Vice-President of the Society.
3. J Dillwyn-Llewellyn, who died in 1881 or 1882, was a naturalist, and for further information I would refer you to the Linnean Society. I cannot find that Mr A M Stoney-Maskelyne was a Fellow of the Society.' </dc:description>
