<dc:title>Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. John Horne, FRS</dc:title>
<dc:description>Reply to an earlier enquiry from Dr. John Horne. To answer Dr. Horne's first two questions, he directs him towards Statutes 10 and 11, Chapter 6, and encloses a copy of each [not enclosed]. With regard to the Secretaries [of the Royal Society], he informs Dr. Horne that the tenure of office is only for one year but there is nothing to prevent their re-election from year to year, as long as it does not exceed ten successive years. </dc:description>
